Detroit Raised.

Storytelling, sweet vocals, and an indie rock/alternative sound, Amanda Ellenwood is bringing all of this and more to the Nashville scene. Growing up only twenty minutes outside of Detroit, Amanda found her love for music in a city rich in its foundation.

Amanda has always had a loving family and a great system of support, but she was not exempt from struggles growing up. Losing family at a young age and searching for a new normal was a big part of her life, leading her to be more reserved and turn inward when it came to social situations.

With Amanda’s love for music, she was able to find her voice again. Her quiet demeanor builds into a pop-centric alternative/indie rock, inspired by acts such as Paramore, The 1975, and Ariana Grande. She recently appeared as the soloist for Belmont’s Gosepl and R&B Ensemble’s, Voxology, performance in Christmas at Belmont presented by Amazon Prime. Additionally, the song performed was put out as a single and is available on all streaming platforms.

She is currently finishing her Bachelor in Music and is looking forward to breaking into session singing in downtown Nashville. In her spare time, she likes to DJ for close friends and remix songs on Logic Pro.
